8th youth international tournament LJUBLJANA OPEN 2015
(for players, born in 2003 and younger)
Ljubljana, Slovenia 12th – 14th June 2015
In 2008 FC Bravo started the “Ljubljana Open” youth football tournament with intention of creating a strong international tournament offering a top level competition to U12 teams and players from Slovenia and abroad. Through years the “Ljubljana Open” has become the biggest international U12 football tournament in this part of Europe.
John F. Kennedy said: ''Children are the world's most valuable resource and its best hope for the future''. In this spirit we are proud to offer kids an experience of international football competition on the model of Euro cup which will together with famous opponents and eleven-a-side on the whole football field game style bring them an experience they will never forget.
We enable young footballers and their coaches to:
• socialise with peers from other European countries,
• meet new friends and make new business partners,

The city of Ljubljana
From beginning, the tournament is patronized by the Municipality of Ljubljana and it’s mayor Mr. Zoran Janković. Mr. Janković is always present at the opening ceremony. The tournament is a great chance to promote Ljubljana and Slovenia among the participating teams. We take all our guests on a tour around our beautiful city.
Stožice national stadium (capacity: 16.800)
The final games of the 2014 Ljubljana Open tournament will be played on Stožice stadium which is the biggest stadium in Slovenia. In 2012 it hosted the UEFA U-17 European Championships and Slovenian national team matches.
The motto of the tournament – FAIR PLAY
Fair play has a special place in the Ljubljana Open tournament. The ambassador of fair play in Slovenia, Mr. Stanislav Pinter, is one of the biggest supporter of the tournament. He will also present the “fair play trophy” to the team which will stand out with its “fair play” behaviour.
Meeting new friends is always possible at Ljubljana Open! So we will be glad, if you come and visit us between 12th and 14th June 2014.
